Inspection and Testing
Process

How the inspection and testing can be carried out:

Bay Test & Tag owns purpose-built commercial electrical equipment testers (IPAT) manufactured in Europe and adapted for NZ conditions by METROTEST LTD in Blenheim.

The IPAT can test all electrical equipment including residual current protective devices to the required NZ standards.

IPAT Features

  • Uniquely, the IPAT records all test results and details of the equipment tested, by client identifier.
  • Equipment details can be recorded under owners name / address or sub address. eg. Records can be kept for one client detailing all equipment tested, it’s location, retest date and the test results.
This information at the completion of the testing regime is provided to the client in electronic and hard copy. The client can then use this information for equipment inventory management and keeping track of test compliance.
  • The IPAT at the completion of a satisfactory test prints barcoded tags for application to the equipment, these tags detail the required retest date and the IPAT test regime used.
Bay Test & Tag are a specialist electrical testing and tagging company
All personnel carrying out the testing and inspection work are trained and competent, with many years of experience in the electrical industry.
